Yesterday’s Recap – The only selection we got correct yesterday, was the ALL leg in the first part of the sequence. It wasn’t our best day, but we will turn the page and move on to Hawthorne. The sequence of 3/2/2/3 returned $154.20.
Breakdown:
Race 8: #1 E R VINCENT has won two of his last three starts all at the bottom level and is one of the more consistent horses in the field. He gets a good draw this week for trainer Kimberly Roth and I expect him to be apart of the early pace scenario. #4 R DUNESHINE picked up Kyle Wilfong last week and looked very sharp in the stretch. In fact, he looked better than he has in a couple of weeks. I look for him to make his presence felt this week.
Race 9: #7 ROCKIN ROXINE has only one win to her credit in 2018 and that was at a fair during an amateur event. She draws a little tough this week but has a big amount of closing kick that should make her dangerous.
Race 10: #4 RED RED REDNECK came from off the pace last week, but just had too much ground to make up. Look for him to rebound this week off of a tough effort from post ten. #6 WILDCAT BOBBY is a very consistent gelding that has seen the inside, the outside, the lead, and the rear of the field and handled it all with absolute disdain. The driver change could also make the difference. #7 SHADY’S DREAM BOY seems to be better when he is close to the pace. He has a little bit of early speed to contend with, but if the pace falls apart late, he could pick up the pieces.
Race 11: #5 DASH AROUND has four wins in six starts including a couple wins at Hawthorne. This gelding likes this racetrack and should have no issues tonight. #8 FREDDY B QUICK is another consistent gelding who knows how to win. He has a little bit of early speed but is also a gelding who can come from off the pace. Look for him to be somewhere close when the dust settles.
