Ticket: 5,6/5,6,8,10/ALL– Cost: $24.00 (.50 cent base)

Yesterday’s Recap – Two-for-five has been the name of the game as of late.  We hit the first and third legs yesterday in a sequence that turned out to be pretty close to form.  The Pick 5 of 7/5/6/4/4 returned $248.80.

Breakdown:

Race 10: #5 KAYMAR CHROME handled the slop extremely well last week after spotting the field six lengths at the start.  She came first over and drew off to win the race easily.  Look for her to be close to the pace from post five.

#6 MOLLY MAE OSHEA made her first career start last week and she handled the pressure very well.  She has a good amount of early speed, but her closing kick is also very strong.  I look for her to have another big effort from here.

#10 CAMS CANDY GIRL has a little bit of early speed, but she is more of a horse that likes to come from off the pace.  The second tier may be good for this filly as she can follow speedily from the inside.  If she gets the trip, she will be close.

#8 RUFFLES FOR THREE had some success at the fairs, then came to Hoosier Park for the first time and handled with absolute disdain.  She had to make up a lot of ground but passed a good amount of horses to finish second.  Her times say that she is competitive.

We will hit the ALL button on the backside as the remainder of the field is wide-open.
