Yesterday’s Recap – We got nailed at the wire after leaving the course in the third leg of yesterday’s picked four that paid pretty well for the gamblers who had it.  Our biggest selection was in the first leg where we had the $13.00 winner.  The Pick 4 of 6/7/3/1 returned $152.00.

Breakdown:

Race 7: #1 PRESCIENT BEAUTY was a game winner in the Bluegrass Stakes in her last start for trainer Gregg Mcnair and in a race that may go sub 1:50 she has a big ability to do it from the rail.  I expect a big effort here.

Race 8: #1 CONWAY KELLYANNE came roaring from off the pace in her last start after some tough efforts against NYSS company.  She made a big move going up the backstretch in that Bluegrass effort, if she is anywhere close to that today she could score.  #3 SPEED TITAN just missed last week, but wasn’t making that big of a move down the stretch.,  Brian Sears picks up the lines who scored this fillies last win.  #4 SCIROCCO DONNAHILL takes the hopples off this week and gets Callahan back in the bike.  She is another horse that could provide some value.

Race 9: #3 CLOUD NINE FASHION enters this race on a six-race winning streak for trainer Jim Campbell who has been doing no wrong as of late.  She is a very versatile filly and handled the jump to stakes company well.  I expect a strong effort from her.

Race 10: #2 MEMO was a horse I fancied last week and he got the perfect trip to score easily.  Today he draws well against some tough company but should continue to show his stuff here.  #3 LUCKY WEEKEND is one of the more consistent horses in the field having won three of his last five starts.  He gets a good draw this week and should be part of the early pace-scenario.
