Breakdown:
Race 10: #2 SHE’S A KITTEN gets a good draw after being roughed up and parked to the first quarter last week. She has a little bit of early gate speed, but prefers to make her move from mid-pack at the half.
#1 MAGIC DESIRE gets a good post after being stuck on the outside in three of her last four starts. She’s a mare that isn’t very speedy, but tends to make a big move in the late stages. She is very consistent and likes to hit board, expect her to be close at a little bit of a price.
#3 ALWAYS BE LUCY had to come from way off the pace last week. She made the lead late in the stretch, but was caught in the shadow of the wire. Tonight she gets a better post and I suspect she will get a much better trip.
#5 SHOE SHOPPER gets the check mark from TrackMaster and is taking a small drop in class. She is very speedy and could very well be the pace-setter. The biggest concern here is the fact that she tends to tire.
#6 U’LL LEARN and #7 RAVISHING VIRGIN are both horses that I would use underneath to get some value. They both are consistently either on the board or close to it and should not be ignored.
