Yesterday’s Recap – We went three-for-four again yesterday as our single in the first leg tired at the end of the mile and was un-placed.  The official Pick 4 was 6-1-4-7 and paid $1,009.40.

Breakdown:

Race 6: #3 ABBIJADE HANOVER has a lot of back class having raced at The Meadowlands, adds Lasix for the second time this week after some improvement last week.  She could be sharp and ready from post three.  #7 GOLD STAR MYSTI was a dominate winner last week going right to the top and never looking back.  She is the speed of the race and will be the early pacesetter.  #8 KISS ON THE LIPS is another speedy mare who could very well be close to the pace.  She has a lot of early speed and has proven herself against Open company.

Race 7: #1 HOTMONES just missed against this class last week after getting stuck behind some dull cover.  She draws the inside and should be close to the pace once again.  #5 BACK STOCK was scratched last week and didn’t have to go over the sloppy track.  One thing about her is she likes to come from off the pace; my question here is whether the driver change will affect her.

Race 8: #7 BETTOR LADY drops down in class after being scratched out of the Open last week.  She defeated lower level company last out by going to the lead, she has some strong closing speed, which makes her very dangerous.  She also gets Nick Roland in the sulky.

Race 9: #2 DONTDOUBTTHELAKERS came first over last week and just faded after a long mile on the outside.  Tonight he draws the inside and, if Roland can get him rolling, he will be tough.  #3 OH MY JOSH closed gamely from off the pace last week after getting a beautiful trip.  He draws the same post tonight and could spice up the Pick 4.  #6 HOWTOTRAINURDRAGON is one of the more consistent horses of the group and will probably be the favorite.  Draw is a little tough, but he has defeated these before.
