Yesterday’s Recap – Yesterday we took down the Pick 4 at The Red Mile for just over $400 with a victory from Princess Deo who returned $16.00 in Race 8.   The Pick 4 of 1,2/4/6/10 returned $411.40

Breakdown:

Race 9: We hit the all button here as it is a very wide open race especially with SCUOLA HANOVER returning from a game win at Harrington on September 25.  My top pick in the race is #1 CULT ICON who made her first start off the layoff count finishing a strong third not missing by much in the end.  Tonight Palone picks up the lines, that combined with the rail could make her a dangerous contender at a little bit of a price.

Race 10: #7 WINDSONG LEO had to draw one of the two outside spots, and got the better of the deal with post seven.  The connections add Palone back this week and with 15 wins in 28 starts this year, I look for his success to continue tonight.

Race 11: #5 T’S ELECTRIC has a big amount of speed to work with and it has proven to be successful before.  You have to really throw both starts at The Meadows out, two starts back he went to the top against tough and tired in the end, then his last start against the easier group he was parked the mile.  Tonight he gets a good post and should be able to strike from here.  #7 OFFICIALLY YOURS has won two straight races for trainer Marcus Marashian.  He looks to continue his success tonight.  He likes to set just off the pace and could trip out against this class.

Race 12: #4 RUFFLE UP has won three of his last four starts and they all were done while he was close to the lead.  They have tried the new tactics and it seems to work, look for more speed this week from post four.  #7 ATTA BOY DAN picks up the services again of Mike Wilder who gets along well with this gelding.  He is a sharp, but versatile gelding who can race from just about anywhere.

Race 13: #2 BETTOR’S DREAM has been stuck on the outside in his last three starts and finally draws the inside for trainer Ron Burke.  He doesn’t have a lot of early speed, but he is one who has a big ability to close from off the pace.  #6 LIBERAL gets a good draw and has a little bit of a tactical advantage with the ability to show speed that a lot of horses don’t have in the race.  He adds Yoder this week for the first, look for a big effort from here.  #8 SIN CITY BOOGIE closed sharply from off the pace last week and just ran out of racetrack.  Looking for another big effort against tougher company.
