Date: 9/28/2018 Carryover: $0  Guarantee: $10,000

Ticket: 2/3,4,8/4,6/3,6,10– Cost: $18.00 ($1.00 cent base)

Yesterday’s Recap – Our selections yesterday were all over the place in the trifecta, but down the lane, we were defeated by Speedy Joy Riding who made a big sweeping move in the stretch to win.  It was a very competitive race that was very wide-open.  The trifecta of 1/8/3 returned $45.00

Breakdown:

Race 7: #2 MEMO gets a driver change to Gingras this week and I am throwing out the start from post ten last week where he had to come from a long way back and just couldn’t get there.  He gets a better post this week and looks like he could improve.  He is also taking a pretty big step back in class.

Race 8: #3 SCIROCCO DONNAHILL added hopples for the first time last week and seemed to improve in the Liberty Bell at Harrah’s Philadelphia.  She was a very strong second to American Kronos who steps up to the Grand Circuit for the first time as well.  Her speed is something that shouldn’t be ignored and if she can stay flat, she could score here.  #4 PRINCESS DEO made an uncharacteristic break in the NJSDF at Freehold on September 21.  She has a big ability to show early speed and when she is close to the pace she tends to hit the board.  I look for her to handle the move up in class well with no struggles.  #8 HANNA DREAMGIRL has really struggled with the post draw as of late on the half-mile track.  Tonight she gets the tough draw again, but this time on a bigger track.  I look for her to improve.

Race 9: #4 UNDEFIABLE won decisively in her last start at Woodbine Mohawk Park and looked very strong in the final quarter.  When she flashes her speed early in the mile she normally is a winner.  I could see her getting to the top from here.  #6 PRESCIENT BEAUTY is the deep closer of the field and has been racing very well for trainer Gregg McNair.  She draws a little bit tough, but I’m not sure that will bother her tonight.

Race 10: #3 SISTER’S PROMISE made a very uncharacteristic break in her last start at Woodbine Mohawk Park.  In the Peaceful Way she looked really strong coming down the stretch and was making up ground when she made the bobble.  If she can bounce back off of that effort she could show up at a price tonight.  #6 WINDY CORNER has won three straight races from just about any post.  She gets a tough draw this week and steps up to face tougher company tonight.  She has a good amount of early speed to contend with and should be apart of the early pace-scenario.  #10 CLOUD NINE FASHION is unbeaten in her young career and has been facing some pretty tough company.  She has a good amount of speed, but the start on July 25 shows just how versatile she is.  I think she may leave off the car and at least be mid-pack to get into the race.
