Yesterday’s Recap – The only winner we could pull yesterday was a chalk in Race 9.  We went one-for-four in the Pick 4, the official order was 2/4/3/4 and paid $247.35.

Breakdown:

Race 9: #5 WINDOFTHENORTH made a big move turning for home last week and he just got up by a neck.  Tonight he draws one of the better posts on a 5/8 mile track and should be able to score. 

Race 10: #1 ER KEVIN draws a good post towards the inside this week, but gets a big driver change to Aaron Merriman.  He hasn’t shown a lot the last couple of weeks, but could show up off the rail.  #2 MAEWEGONOW drops back down to a class that she has shown to be competitive before.  If she can stay flat, she will be tough.  #8 BREEDLOVE has shown some promise over the past couple of weeks.  Mike Wilder picks up the lines again this week.  He has a big closing kick and that makes him dangerous.

Race 11: #1 JOEY could very well be one of the prohibitive favorites in the field tonight as Palone picks up the lines after a tough effort in the Goodtimes elimination.  Trainer Leslie Zendt added hopples for the first time and is looking to improve.  #7 ALMIROLA HANOVER  has won two of his last three starts and he has been known to show speed from the outside.  He is a horse that does his best work when he is close to the pace.

Race 12: #9 AIR QUOTES HANOVER has been ultra-consistent as of late winning three of his last five starts.  He has a good amount of early speed to contend with and that could make him tough even from the outside.

Race 13: #3 MISTER OF ALL adds Lasix for the second time tonight and really showed improvement last week.  He showed speed last week and never looked back on the lead.  If he handles the jump in class, he will be the one to beat.  #6 WILLIE B WORTHY has been racing very well against this class as of late.  He is a big closer and should be coming late.  #7 KNOCKOUT YANKEE is another big closer who has a chance to come from off the pace.  He just missed last week after having to find a way off the pylons.  Look for him late.
