Yesterday’s Recap – Three-for-five was the name of the game on Tuesday as we had a tough go of things at The Meadows.  The official Pick 5 payoff was valuable to the ticket holders, 5/4/5/9/7,9 returned $2,447.20.  We give a different track a try today, have a happy and safe 4^th of July.

Breakdown:

Race 6: #1 SAULSBROOK DEPUTY has had some really tough luck in his last couple of starts against these, drawing an outside post.  Tonight he gets a good draw towards the inside and the post-improvement could make him very tough.  #4 SO SO INCREDIBLE has won two straight, both on the front end.  He has a lot of speed and a big ability to get to the top, look for him to be the early pace-setter.  #5 SUNSET OVER MIAMI is a very versatile gelding who used a different method last week and it almost worked for him at big odds.  He took back off the pace and tried to close, but just couldn’t get there in the end.  Look for him to be closer tonight.  #6 LOCHLAN SEELSTER has won three straight races and his last couple had to be won from very tough positions.  The question here is can he handle the half.  #8 DUCKIES DYNASTY takes a big drop down in class looking for improvement.

Race 7: #1 PAPPAGIORGIO has won three of his last five including two of those efforts being at Saratoga.  He has been hounded by some tough draws and could strike on the front end off the rail.  #2 AMAZING SEVENS won against this class last week and really didn’t have to work to do it.  He came from off the pace but drew away from everyone in the stretch.  Look for him to be close again.  #5 TROLLER picks up Hennessey tonight after a strong winning effort against a tough NY Excelsior series class.  He has some gate speed which also makes him an interesting play.  #7 SOME ROYALTY gets a tough draw on the outside but receives a big driver change to Jimmy Devaux.

Race 8: #4 NOBLE DUNN has won two of his last three with Hennessey in the bike, facing a tough group tonight, but should be able to get the job done.

Race 9: #3 MICHAELS BOY has won three straight for trainer Scott Mongeon all on the front end.  There isn’t a lot of speed in the race and that really plays to this one.

Race 10: #5 KZ CRAZEE got a beautiful trip and exploded in the slop here last week.  She has been racing well in the series and should be overlooked.  #6 FULL GROWN MAN has a post position to overcome, but he has shown promise before.
