Yesterday’s Recap – Thanks to a couple of bigger prices the Pick 5 carried over and went 4 of 5 returning $53.30.  We went two-for-four in the Pick 5 with victories in legs one and three.

Breakdown:

Race 8: #4 TO THE LIMIT will start from post five and is one of the more consistent geldings in the field.  He draws well and while he doesn’t have a lot of early speed to work with, he closes really well.  Picks up the services of Wiseman who plays nice with this one.  #5 FIREDRAKE finally seems to be coming back into form after having a very rough go of things.  He should be closer to the pace. 

Race 9: #4 WESTERN FORTUNE steps back in class tonight to face easier company and while you won’t get the biggest price on him, he could be a single so you can spread elsewhere.  #5 CR ARTISTIC was a game, but strong winner against this group last out.  He draws well and has the early speed to be there. 

Race 10: #1 GENERAL TIME was a winner against lower level company after facing tougher two starts back.  The break seemed to help this gelding look for a good effort.  #5 CENALTA DIAMOND could be the value play of the Pick 4, and could also run away with the race.  She is the lone speed horse in the race and could step up and race well for trainer/driver Gerald Longo.

Race 11: #5 AL MAR BONBON has won two of his last four against this class and was second twice before that.  Since Dean Magee took the hand holds, this horse has been unstoppable and tonight should be no different.
