Yesterday’s Recap – Hawthorne received heavy rains on Friday night and the card was canceled after two races. 

Breakdown:

Race 8: We hit the ALL button here with the bottom level condition as there are many horses in the race who can win.  I like #3 STRAIGHT MUNRO who is coming off some pretty impressive efforts where he has been flying late in the end and just missing.  Look for him to be closer to the pace this evening.

Race 9: #4 CRAFTY JOE has won five of eight starts this year for trainer Ronnie Roberts.  He came to the big track for the first time last week and handled it extremely well getting the perfect trip, look for a bigger trip tonight.

Race 10: #2 SHEWON’TDALIAROUND was a horse I touted last week and she came up strong for us from post seven.  Tonight she draws well and should be closer than she was last week, I expect another very big effort.  #5 SUMMER PARTY is a very big loser in a race full of them.  I expect her to be coming late, but can she outkick the others.

Race 11: #4 IMAJEAN ROCKS tried a different tactic on the front end last week and it worked with her just missing.  With another class drop, I think Leonard gets her to the winners’ circle.
