Yesterday’s Recap – The only selection we got correct in the Pick 5 at Yonkers was the last race of the evening when Caviart Luca was able to score from the rail in front-racing style.  The Pick 5 of 7/5/5/3/1,8 returned a healthy $1,395.

Breakdown:

Race 4: #4 WESTERN LIBERTY draws well this week and after her effort against this class last out, I look for even more improvement.  She gets along well with Indof which could help her to spell victory tonight.  #5 DAENERYS HANOVER gets Lasix for the second time tonight following a tough fourth-place effort last out.  She has proven that she can handle this class on other racetracks, today could be the day.  #6 RACING FOR RICK has won two of her last three against this group and will probably be a big threat.  Do not leave her off of the ticket.

Race 5: #6 AN ORIGINAL DRAGON is dropping down today for trainer Andy Rickert following a couple of tough efforts.  She has been stuck on the outside for quite some time but has proven that she can handle it and be apart of the leading group.

Race 6: #2 WHIRL WINDS K adds hopples for the second time today following a decisive victory last out.  He has a good amount of speed and the fact he beat older at a young age speaks volumes to his ability.

Race 7: #2 CAVIART SCARLETT takes a pretty big step back following a couple of disappointing efforts against Open Company.  Today she draws well again towards the inside and should be able to utilize some of her high cruising speed.  #3 JAZZY IMAGE got a brutal trip last week and still managed to finish a strong third.  She has a little bit of speed to contend with and that could play to her favor off the rail.
