Yesterday’s Recap – We went two-for-four in a Pick 4 that was pretty chalky.  Stay Hungry returned to form yesterday with a strong victory in the Bluegrass.  The Pick 4 of 7/2/3/2 returned $32.30

Breakdown:

Race 9: #1 GUNSLINGER HILL has won two of his last three and gets Palone back in the sulky this week.  He could be tough off the rail.

Race 10: #2 MASSIVE RISK gets a good draw towards the inside this week and looks like she could handle this class.  I look for Hall to be on or near the lead.  #3 IRON MINE JOHNNY gets the services again of driver Aaron Merriman who has had some success with this gelding before.  #9 DONT RUSH hasn’t hit the board in a couple of starts, but coming back off the layoff could benefit him.  A big start for this horse.

Race 11: #1 BURNING DESIRE has been racing pretty well as of late and is looking for his first win since coming back off the layoff.  Look for more improvement this week off the rail.

Race 12: #6 EIFFEL HANOVER enters this race off a game victory at the fair where had had to come from off the pace to score.  He has a little bit of speed and should be able to contend here.  #7 WHITE LIE  got a terrible start last week and somehow found his way through the field a little bit.  Look for a big effort.

Race 13: #1 CHUCKIE ME finally scored last week after putting together a string of second and third place efforts.  Another thing I like about her is the ability to be versatile.  Look for another big effort from her tonight.  #8 TECH TITAN, when was the last time you got Palone at big odds?  Tonight may be tough for her, but she has proven she belongs with these.
