Yesterday’s Recap – We went three-for-five again yesterday with some long bombs coming in the sequence.  The Pick 5 sequence was 3/5/3/3/5 and returned $6,827.75.  Happy 4th of July!

Breakdown:

Race 6: #1 IMAGE OF VENUS has posted a couple of good qualifiers, the final time of the last one jumps out at me.  She is a half to world-champions Venus Delight and Keystone Velocity.  Her mom produces winners and she should be no different.

#5 BEYOND THE VIEW could very well also play spoiled after two decent qualifiers.  She is a half-sister to some very strong company who likes to win first time out.  If she has the same fight she will be tough to beat.

#10 ROCKINBYTHEBEACH looked strong from post eight last week, getting to the top after a perfect trip and scoring by open lengths.  She draws tough again this week, but will probably be one of the favorites.

#4 QUEEN LAGERTHA has two successful pari-mutuel races both where she fought gamely to finish second.  She likes to hit the board and is worth a use underneath.

I would also consider using #5 BEYONDTHEVIEW, #6 SHEZLOCKEDNLOADED, and #8 GOTACOPY underneath to complete the trifecta.
