Dover, DE — Spend It All, one of two 3-year-olds in the $15,000 Filly and Mare Winners Over Pace, bested five other starters in 1:52.1 to win the Monday (Nov. 18) feature at Dover Downs.

Owned by Brooke Givens and Steve Head, the sophomore daughter of Tell All-Dream Card proved much the best as Jim Morand drove her to her 14th victory of the season in 25 races. Les Givens trains the winner, who now has won $117,270 in this her first full season of racing. Jeremes Sweetheart (Ross Wolfenden) edged Yagonnakissmeornot (Montrell Teague) for place honors.

Special Lindy, piloted by Eddie Davis, Jr., closed with a rush in the other $15,000 pace for females to score a 1:54.1 win for trainer Eddie Dennis and owners Dave King and E&K Stable. Lloyd’s Lady (Montrell Teague) took second with Bareboat (Roger Plante) the third place finisher. Special Lindy has now won five times, earning $36,620.

DSBF races headline Tuesday card

Three $20,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund freshmen male trot second leg preliminaries headline the Tuesday Dover card.

Two of last week’s opening round winners, Whichwayrightrleft and I Like My Boss, meet in one of the three preliminaries. Both Syl King’s Whichwayrightrleft (with Ross Wolfenden) and I Like My Boss (owned by Bob Shahan and Jimmy and A.M. Parson, driven by Jonathan Roberts) were clocked in 2:01.3 in their wins and will match strides in the fourth race.

Marvin Meyer’s My Bob Charlie led through the early stages of his race, only to finish second for Corey Callahan. Eli Beiler and trainer-driver Art Stafford, Jr. also were a strong second. Briefs Or Boxers, owned, trained and driven by Carlo Poliseno, leaves from the rail.

Winbak Farms’ Call Me Hal (Vic Kirby) won the other first leg prelim with a 2:02.1 effort with Nanticoke Racing’s LG’s Command (Les Givens) and Bart Cavanagh’s Odessa (Kim Vincent) leading the opposition.

In the first division, Trevor Johnson, Henry Faragalli III and Nanticoke Racing’s LG’s Pride (Jim Morand), Winbak Farms’ Winbak Charles M (Jeff Fout) and Bobby Myers’ Boo’s The Boss (Allan Davis) head a six-horse field.
