Mohawk Hosting New Owner Seminar

Mohawk Racetrack will be offering fans the opportunity to learn more about racehorse ownership with a special new owner seminar on Saturday (Sept. 23).

The seminar will feature presentations from ownership groups LandMark Racing Stables, TheStable.ca and Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association.

All three groups offer fans an affordable and easy way to become involved in owning a racehorse.

Mark McKelvie of the Woodbine Entertainment Group will moderate the discussion and also open up the floor to allow potential new owners the opportunity to ask questions to any or all of the presenters.

The seminar is free to attend and will take place in the Director’s Lounge from 6-7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.

Live racing begins that evening at 7:30 p.m. and features the C$816,000 Metro Pace.
