2016 International Trot Videos: On Track Piraten

As the 2017 International Trot approaches, the SOA of NY and Yonkers Raceway would like the fans to get to know the competitors that make up this year’s talented field, as well as some of the history that makes the International Trot a coveted prize worldwide.

In the first video installment, get to know Sweden’s 8-year-old gelding On Track Piraten as he prepares to compete in the International Trot for the second year in a row. Trainer Hans Strömberg discusses his star pupil’s importance to the community and his unique training routine.
