Yesterday’s Recap – We missed hitting the Pick 5 by a head last night at Yonkers when YS Talia snapped our ticket in the fourth leg.  We went four-for-five and look to take down the big guarantee tonight!  The Pick 5 of 6/6/5/3/2 returned $445.25.

Race 8: #2 PEEKABOO TATTOO will need some racing luck as she has really fallen off in her last couple of starts.  She is a filly that hasn’t had a chance to be apart of the early pace scenario in a while and could show up against this class.  #4 MISS SASSY PANTS made a big sweeping move last week and closed home strongly for trainer Alexia Kehl.  She gets a good post tonight and is a versatile filly who can rate from anywhere.  #7 I’M ON A TERROR has won four of her last five starts while racing at the fairs.  Her last start at Running Aces on July 28, wasn’t terrible as she went 1:53.3 with Yoder in the bike.  If she comes anywhere close to that final time tonight she could be tough.

Race 9: #1 HERE COMES TEDDY has done well so far against the Minnesota-breds   He draws the inside this week and has a decent amount of early speed that could make him dangerous on the front end this week.  #3 RIDONKULOSO has won three of his last five starts and done so on the front end.  Last week he got the perfect journey after being stung to the first quarter and just tired in the end.  Look for him to improve here. #4 GIGGLE MONSTER has won two straight races for trainer Justin Anfinson both from off the pace.  He draws well this week and so far has handled his own against the Minnesota-bred company.  I look for him to be tough here.  #5 WATCHMENEIGHNEIGH made a very uncharacteristic break last week from post seven after not having the best of beginnings.  Tonight he draws well again and is one that could present a little bit of value.

Race 10: #6 AL-MAR REBA BABE has only won two races in 17 starts this year, but her versatility and ability to pass horses is really hard to ignore.  She has been racing well with McGee in the bike who returns this week.  #7 FRENCH ECLIPSE Has won two straight one of them, against Minnesota-bred company.  He could very well be a force to be reckoned with even from the outside.

Race 11: #3 WHATITDO BABYBOO is one of the more consistent horses currently racing at Running Aces.  She has looked extremely sharp against Open company thus far and should have no issues against this class.  #6 BOOM BOOM SHABOOM could light up the tote board tonight for trainer/driver Brady Jenson.  She looked very well last week when she drew off to win easily against the easier company.  She will have her work cut out for her, but if she can be apart of the early pace-scenario she could make things interesting.  #8 PLACE AT THE BEACH is a very speedy mare who has been very consistent against the claiming ranks thus far.  She has an outside chance, facing a big group of mares.

Race 12: #2 GRAVELSINMYTRAVEL didn’t get the best of trips against Op, en company last week, but still took dead aim on the leaders.  He has a big late kick that shouldn’t be ignored.  #4 SWAGASAURUSREX is another gelding in the field that has had some racing luck as of late and been putting in some pretty big efforts.  The TrackMaster numbers are consistently above par and that makes him dangerous.  #5 STUCKEY DOTE has a good amount of speed and has been racing in the Open ranks at Running Aces and been pretty consistent.  He has the ability to get to the top and pressure the pace early.  #8 WATCHYASTARINAT has hit the board in all of his last six efforts and only missed the board twice this year.  This is another Open gelding that has some pretty big numbers and should not be overlooked.
