Northville Downs hosts qualifier for World Harness Handicapping Championship

BetAmerica WHHC-logo-2017 (1)Northville, MI—The first of two qualifiers for the $50,000 World Harness Handicapping Championship (WHHC) held at The Meadowlands is set at Northville Downs for Friday (March 24). Registration is now open for this qualifying event.

There will be a $100 fee due upon registration; half of which will be an entry fee and the other $50 will be the starting bankroll for the contest.

The winner of the contest will receive one seat in the $50,000 World Harness Handicapping Championship Final on April 29 at The Meadowlands. There will also be a cash prize of $1000*, air and hotel will also be provided to the winner.

Cash prizes will also be awarded to the second and third place finishers.

The contest format is as follows:
• Contestants must bet a minimum of five Northville Downs Races
• $10 minimum bet per race; no maximum bet.
• Win wagers only.
• One horse per race.
• Contestants keep all pari-mutuel winnings.
• Maximum 2 entries per person

*The cash prize listed is set for 50 entries, if more or less contestants enter, then the prize pool will be distributed according to the rules posted on the brochure available for download at www.northvilledowns.com.
