Northville Downs hosts qualifier for World Harness Handicapping Championship

Northville, MI—The first of two qualifiers for the $50,000 World Harness Handicapping Championship (WHHC) held at The Meadowlands is set at Northville Downs for Friday (March 24). Registration is now open for this qualifying event.

There will be a $100 fee due upon registration; half of which will be an entry fee and the other $50 will be the starting bankroll for the contest.

The winner of the contest will receive one seat in the $50,000 World Harness Handicapping Championship Final on April 29 at The Meadowlands. There will also be a cash prize of $1000*, air and hotel will also be provided to the winner.

Cash prizes will also be awarded to the second and third place finishers.

The contest format is as follows:
• Contestants must bet a minimum of five Northville Downs Races
• $10 minimum bet per race; no maximum bet.
• Win wagers only.
• One horse per race.
• Contestants keep all pari-mutuel winnings.
• Maximum 2 entries per person
