Yesterday’s Recap – We took down the trifecta at Hoosier Park yesterday as our top selection passionate desire got the perfect trip to win at odds of 8/1.  The favorite who we did not use Dry Creek Shooter was never in contention.  The official trifecta was 3/8/7 and paid $139.90.

Breakdown:

Race 3: #4 PAYNE FOR PRES is one of the more consistent horses in the group and is coming off a very game victory in his last start.  He was stung for the first part of the race but flew home in the end.  Look for him to be apart of the picture this week.  #5 FRITAS SHOOTER faces this class this week after a difficult trip last out.  If he can get a better trip this week I expect for him to be apart of the pace tonight.  #9 LYONS KING could be the value play of the sequence after a game first over trip last week and just missed in the end at 6/1.  The post isn’t a huge concern as he has raced well from out here before.

Race 4: #5 DELIGHTFUL IMAGE looked good in her first effort against this group last week.  She had to make up a lot of ground and was really coming in the end.  I expect her to improve more this week.  #9 INDIAN CREEK KYLA looked sharp at the fair going right to the lead last out.  She has a good amount of early speed and could use that to her advantage especially since she is on the the outside.

Race 5: #3 AFTER MARKET ships to Hoosier Park for the first time this year and is coming off a breaking effort at Hawthorne.  He has been known to show speed and the driver change to Tetrick could make a difference.  #5 MIGHTY PERUVIAN N has had some success at the Hoosier Park oval before.  He returns to a place where he really knows how to win. 

Race 6: #2 SUNNY SHARK made a break in his first start, when the driver change happened he seemed to improve.  Going to give him another chance against this group.  #6 HESALLABOUTDABASS faces a little easier tonight off a couple of tough trips.  Look for him to improve this week
