Yesterday’s Recap – There was no Play of the Day Saturday

Breakdown:

Race 13: #1 FIXTHEDEFICIT draws the inside and gets Tharps back in the bike following a game second-place effort last week.  The only thing I am not a huge fan of was that he got the perfect trip and couldn’t pass the eventual winner.  Look for some improvement this week.

#2 KEYSTONE ROCOO fought gamely in the stretch last week and was just nosed out at the wire after putting in a monster effort.  He draws well this week and could hit the ticket with some value.

#4 DP SPOOFEE comes back from Dayton where his mile wasn’t nearly as bad as what the program shows, but tonight he drops down in class.  Irvine is yet to drive this gelding, but that driver change could be what this horse needs.

#9 WALKING TALL is in a new barn this week following a disappointing effort last week, but you almost have to throw that start out since he was parked the mile.  He draws better this week and faces the easier company, definitely worth a look especially if the ML holds.

#6 MATRIX OF LUCK drops in class this week following a difficult effort last week against tougher.  I expect some big improvement with Lems back in the bike.
