Yesterday’s Recap – We just got nailed at the line Tuesday night where our top selection TC’s Happy Times was passed by Dontforgetmaster in the end.  It was a race full of breakers last night that created some major value.  The Super Hi-5 of 6-1-9-7-8 returned $1,799.04.  Yesterday’s Pick 4 ticket was mistakenly today’s horses.  Here is the play for today.

Breakdown:

Race 3: #1 WONDER BULL closed gamely from off the pace last week and was narrowly beaten last week as the favorite.  He is a pretty versatile gelding that can come from off the pace or be on the lead.  I expect him to be close again this week.  #7 MR GORGEOUS is another pretty big closer that has a strong ability to come from off the pace and pass horses.  If Widger can get into a good spot then he should do well.

Race 4: #3 JIM PERFECT TEN is a very consistent gelding who handled the slight drop in class well last week.  He needed the start following being scratched in the Super Final.  Looking for a big effort here.  #4 ON DUTY has won four of his last six starts most of them while being forwardly placed.  The post-draw plays to his favor this week.  #6 ROCKIN SPEED got the perfect trip last week and just wasn’t good enough to advance, but no one came to get him.  He proved last week that he could handle being forwardly placed.

Race 5: #6 TWIN B TK has proven before that he can hang with this group and gets along well with Casey Leonard.  Final time wise he is the play, look for a big trip.

Race 6: #3 DEWEYDIDDONEGOOD could very well be the value play of the sequence coming up from Virginia where he raced pretty well.  This is a pretty big jump in class, but if he can handle it, he will blow things up.  #5 VINTAGE GRAND has won three of his last four and does his best work on the lead.  The draw isn’t the greatest, but he has shown some strong ability from outside posts.  #8 FOUR STACES is another speedy gelding that has been tiring around the last turn as of late.  If he can rate the fractions, I think he may be able to hold on.
