Joe Gerrity Memorial – Grand Circuit $1 Million Challenge

The Joe Gerrity Memorial at Saratoga Casino and Raceway this Saturday continues your hunt in the Grand Circuit $1 Million Challenge and we’ve assembled a crackerjack group of experts to help you as you make your pick in the contest.

Reminder: If you’ve picked a few horses that didn’t win so far, you could still win $10,000 so keep voting!

3 – DANCIN YANKEE: A winner of 14 of 22 this year and in some sensational times. The trip may be tough but this near-millionaire is probably the sharpest of this entire group. Post three will really help the cause with several major dangers drawing outside

6 – PH SUPERCAM: Either member of this entry could win. There’s a leaver and a closer among them. PH Supercam is the top money earner in the race and is used to dealing with bad posts.

5 – FOILED AGAIN: Everybody loves an entry. I don’t love the trips for this Burke-trained entry though as the post draws didn’t go their way. And Foiled Again is, well, Foiled Again so he’s always got a chance.

3 –  DANCIN YANKEE: This horse put up a six race win streak before finishing 5th last time out at Hoosier Park in the Dan Patch. The field he faces tonight is not nearly as tough as the field in the Dan Patch, where Sweet Lou dominated once again. The last time DANCIN YANKEE was on a half mile track, he won in a sharp 1:50.3.

5 – FOILED AGAIN: Like DANCIN YANKEE, FOILED AGAIN comes out of races that were dominated by his stable mate Sweet Lou. Although he has not won in a while, FOIELD AGAIN is still sharp enough to get a big piece of this race. It’s tough to know what type of trip FOILED AGAIN will get tonight, as it really depends on whether driver Matt Kakaley tries for the lead or not.

1 – HESTON BLUE CHIP: Although this horse has not factored with the top Free For Allers in the past few years, he does draw the rail tonight. Marcus Miller will be leaving with this horse and can secure a pocket trip. If that happens, this horse will have a big chance to score at a nice price.
