Vote YES for New Jersey

New Jersey lawmakers voted overwhelmingly to add a November 8th ballot amendment asking voters whether to approve two casinos in north Jersey of which proceeds will be set aside to support the Equine Industry. With the amount of farmland declining, the preeminence of harness racing in New Jersey is in jeopardy.

There have been recent closures of Peretti Farms, one of the largest standardbred breeding farms in the state, and Showplace Farm, one of the largest training facilities in the state. Voting ‘YES’ can prevent other farms to close and even help new farms open up.

If this is approved, two casinos will be added to racetracks and some of the proceeds will be set aside to support equine. Spread the word to vote!
